Watchmen

I went to see Watchmen on Sunday. I knew nothing about it really, just someone at work said how the graphic novel was great. The film seems to have represented the book fairly in that I thought it was great too, it had proper depth and maturity if you ask me, not your usual comic book thing. I like that lack of big names actors, gives it a refreshing independent type feel, I wouldn't usually mention the effects but they were pretty incredible, so much so I questioned whether they actually were effects...they were but, you know. Look out for the use of music as well, I've never heard Sound of Silence sound so good. Anyway yeah, thumbs up from goodstuffoffthecuffallthetime if you want it.
