Just incase you haven't tried it Football Weekly is a great football podcast, it's James and some Guardian journalists chatting about recent and upcoming football action, there's some quality banter and informed opinions...which I find really useful because even though I love football I don't watch enough of it and subsequently flounder in the pub banter stakes.

Released on a Monday and Thursday I think, can play it straight from the page or subscribe in Itunes.

Front Row: American Authors Collection

You can listen here to feature length BBC interviews with many great american authors from 1939 to present day, including John Updike, Norman Mailer and Dave Eggers. Some of them go to make up Mark Lawson's Capturing America Radio Show which I have shamefully forgotten to listen to thus far.

Wonders Of The Solar System

Obviously I'd go gay for Brian Cox.
Obviously his new show is better than real life.
Obviously you should watch it on IPlayer if you haven't already.

(Obviously I'm going to find a better picture, just a bit busy)
EDIT: found this new picture on his wife's flick page...bit weird that innit?

BAFTA Posters

I'm a bit late on this, but these 5 BAFTA posters by Tavis Coburn are sweet as, from Kitsure Noir Click link to see bigger.

Re: Oscars, glad The Hurt Locker won stuff I loved it, although it could be a case of in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king, disappointed A Prophet and Fantastic Mr Fox lost out, I think Best Foreign Film should be allowed into Best Film Category if they are going to have 10 nominations. Over and Out.

Mark Linkous

Sad news about Mark Linkous of Sparklehorse dying, always been a really big fan. His albums are on Spotify, I love his first 3, especially Good Morning Spider.

Foals - Spanish Sahara

I usually try not blog obvious things but today I thought, well why not, so here is Yannis looking rather attractive in a fittingly bleak and picturesque video for Foals' brilliant new single. The DJ played it at White Heat the other night, quite brave to play such a down beat track but it sounded amazing, braves 1 cowards 0
